Message Cold starting is preference im sure... I NEVER drive my TT unless I warm her up for at LEAST 10 mins... maybe I'm anal, but I think it depends on the weather and my oil pressure... I do live in cali and somewhere colder might take longer or shorter depending...

: THESE ARE ALL TWIN TURBO QUESTIONS

: If you have engine mods, should that time be longer?

I don't see why, if you upgrade your oil cooler it should take a shorter time...(cooling down)

: After driving, parking (for a couple of minutes), and starting up again, should you let the car warm up?

no need to... your oil is already at op temp... the reason to warm your Z is cause oil is heat rated, it thins with heat and gets thicker with cold... you just wan't to make sure it good enough to pass through all the oil passeges nice and easy...

: Does your driving distance determine How much time to set the turbo timer when cooling down?

yes and no... it's mainly how hard you push her over the last few miles that really matter... don't boost when you are close to home and she won't have to cool down as much... the reason we keep her engine running is because those wonderful turbos get fucking hot, and when you shut down the engine, you stop all oil from going into and cooling the turbos...
I have had my Z for about 40K miles... since I had her, I have been SURE to warm her and cool her down... I drive hard... I mean HARD... I race every time I take her out... and she has been nothing but a sweet heart to me... take care of you baby and she will take care of you...
